My partner and I took part in the Rome in a day tour yesterday and thought it was brilliant Maria had an incredible amount of knowledge about the city it seemed everything we passed she knew something about. And any question anyone had she had the answer too. She was passionate about the history of her city and that really shone through. And Dario in the afternoon was fantastic also he only managed to scratch the surface in the museum but seemed to know off hand where anything and everything was and again very passionate about everything he was showing us. If you attempt to see Rome with no tour guide you’d have to be mad if your spending your hard earned cash on a holiday here go the extra mile to have one of these people tell you the stories of there city it’s 100% worth the money!

Outstanding! Both the morning and afternoon tour guides were excellent. Lots of walking and stairs and listening, which we loved but isn't for everyone. We had two families with young children as young as 3-4 and they said in hindsight they would have done a half-day tour - too much for young children.

My husband and I loved the Rome in a day tour. The Colosseum was fabulous, the forum was interesting, the pantheon was amazing and so was the Vatican. I strongly suggest this tour if you are in Rome. Best thing is you will be able to walk off the delicious food here in Rome. We loved the first guide, Maria if you get her you are in for a treat.

Our morning tour was led by Chiara, a high energy, an enthusiastic young woman with a great sense of humour and a thorough knowledge of history. We visited the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Forum. Chiara showed us colour pictures of what the ruins would have looked like in their day and this helped us see what was missing. We only had 8 in our group, a perfect number to manoeuvre through the crowds. Our afternoon tour was with about 20 people, led also by a very knowledgeable guide who explained the sights we were seeing at the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica.

We really enjoyed our tour. Went to all of Rome's attractions. This is a walking tour that starts at the Vatican with a tour guide. Tour guides were excellent and provided great information. The audio equipment we had were clear and comfortable. Also, we didn't have to wait in line to purchase tickets to the sites we visited. Also, had our own entry. Sure beats the long line purchasing tickets at the sites. Highly recommend In Rome Tours.

My husband and I attended the Vatican and Ancient Rome tour. It is an excellent way to see a lot of the city in one day. There is a lot of walking, of course, but we had a wonderful guide that was very informative! And we had a great lunch. Everything went on schedule.

My fiancé and I only had one day in Rome. We wanted to make the most of it and to see as much as possible. We were a bit apprehensive to schedule a tour since, let's face it, it's Rome! All you need to do it walk around and see the history at every corner, right? WRONG!! Claire and Vincenzo were so passionate about everything and told us so many facts that we would not have known otherwise. We had a much different (better) experience in Rome than our friends had who did not take the tour. Worth every penny!! Not to mention, both guides were pretty funny! My fiancé and I are 28 and 30 years old but there were people who were there who were in their 60s as well. Great for everyone!! There's a bit of walking to do around gorgeous Rome so make sure you wear sneakers. :)

We had one day in Rome and this tour was an excellent learning and visual experience for the time we had. Our first guide took us through the Roman Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the various palace sites for different Roman Emperors each had to better the other. He drilled down into all areas for us and made our time very interesting. We were then transported to the Vatican for entrance and lunch in the Vatican Museum. After lunch, we were joined by a new guide who took us through the Vatican museum galleries - ending in the Sistine Chapel. Next he had our entrance tickets into St. Peter's Basilica where he again gave us a very detailed and interesting tour throughout. We toured St. Peter's Square with some great final highlights to complete our tour. Just an excellent experience!
