My husband and I vacationed in Italy in celebration of our 1st wedding anniversary. We were so lucky to have Seb as our tour guide. He was so passionate about the Vatican museum and the sistine chapel and gave us such personalized attention that we still talk about it a year later. We loved it so much that we are planning on going back to Rome again this year. We learned so much about the art and the history and took some amazing pictures of us to preserve the beautiful memories. Privatetour you are the best!

Our tour guide was fantastic. It was obvious that he had a real love for the art in the Vatican and a good knowledge of many elements of the displays there. His information definitely made our experience more interesting and informative. As a huge lover of art history, I asked if the Raphael rooms were on the guided tour, they weren't, but our guide instructed me on how to get into them and the modern art museum (absolutely worth it and a must see for any art lover!). The Sistine Chapel was visually fantastic, however, I visited in July during peak season...the guards were shouting for people to stop taking photos and be quiet, which slightly took away from the awe-inspiring experience. I'd advise you to bring water and something to eat as it takes a long time to view the Vatican right, you don't want thirst or hunger to get in the way. Please make sure you know how to use the flash on your camera before going as you can only take non flash photography. This trip was the best sight seeing trip I have ever been on, however that has a lot to do with my love for the art!

Our itinerary included the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Booking the tour was super simple. Very clear instructions which was ace (including description of meeting place with photographs). The tour guide was outstanding (personable, knowledgeable). She had an art history background . She didn't skimp on information or time. We were totally delighted with our experience, thank you!

I took the Vatican skip-the-line tour with Seb. He was excellent, among the best guides I have ever had. Despite the huge crowds he moved our group along expertly - always ensuring people knew where he was and where they would be going next, not pushing but was very clear on how we should follow him. He provided a constant and variable interpretation of the art, architecture and history of this massive place, in a way that kept it from being overwhelming (not that easy to do!). A real master of the material but delivered in an understated way, and truly enjoyable. Thank you!

We chosen to take the guided tour to not miss the most interesting and important attractions in the Vatican Museums. The best thing we ever did was use privatetour! "skip the line" was a big advantage. The guide was a very good storyteller, very well prepared and informed, but most importantly, extremely passionate about history and art.

Just to be there was amazing and worth the expense and time... however, they rush you through the incredibly packed hallways as you try to take in the massive amount of history. Awe-inspiring experience, the tour guide was good but it was difficult to hear her speak much of the time.

Normally I stay away from guided tours the offers of personalized Rome guided tours that make a great way to experience Rome. The tours offered are different from a big bus tour. At all stops we could stay as long as we wanted without having to follow the timeline of a large group and the car was waiting for us when we were ready to leave. The small van could get to all places in Rome not accessible to a big tourist bus. Our guide was so fun! We enjoyed a great full-day Rome tour , very informative tour of the Vatican City and the ancient Rome. It was very easy to book the Tour and everything was perfect!

My advice is make sure you start early and have your walking boots on as it is a long way around and there is alot to see.! Its 4 miles in total to see everything. Skipping the que was as good idea as you go straight in and skip the 2+ hours wait. The guides are very good, they know there stuff and inside is amazing there is so much to see!

We were toured by Mariana and she did a great job for us. It can be so overwhelming and she deftly navigated the crowds and pointed out the highlights. Being able to skip the line alone was worth the price but the guide had so many insights we would not have had if trying to digest on our own. So many beautiful statues, frescoes, tapestries, paintings, tiling and of course the architecture too. The Sistine Chapel was as amazing as I had hoped even if it was a bit of herding getting through. The crowds are just insane but you understand why it is so popular. I wish we had a little more time in the end for the Basilica and colonnade around the plaza. In any case, the Basilica is gorgeous with many intriguing features. Would highly recommend this tour!

Wow...5 stars all the way! Out of our entire 10 day trip to Italy, the time that we spent at the Vatican was the best by far. Without the guide a lot of the statues and other features would have meant nothing or little to us. They were extremely informative and whats more to the point interesting and obviously very knowledgeable, our guide also had a wicked sense of humour! Many thanks for making our last day in Rome so special.
