The Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter Basilica are very interesting an complex sites to visit, yet extremely packed with people. The skip-the-line option was worth the money to get it as a start to see the sites not just the outside of the walls. We had an excellent English speaking tour guide who was insightful with a bit of humour thrown in. Would highly recommend. Used wireless microphone and receivers so that you could hear 50 feet away or not get lost in the crowds.

An awe-inspiring visit to this beautiful place. Our guide was outstanding - so informative and delivered her knowledge and insights with humour, engaging her audience and really bringing to life the amazing artwork on view. There is so much to see here we'll have to do a second visit sometime - only hope we're lucky enough to get the same guide.

I highly recommend this tour. It was well worth the price to save time in line and to have a very enjoyable and informative tour without being overwhelmed/frustrated by the huge crowds and the monumental amount of things to see.

Truly front of the line even had time on the grounds and buildings before morning crowds for a while. The guide was super knowledgeable and couldn’t have been any nicer. Learned so much about things I thought I knew about.

highly recommend the early access tour. Unfortunately, I don't remember our guides name but she was Italian and clearly had a background in art. She was so knowledgeable and she was a pleasure to listen to. It was obvious that she enjoyed sharing her knowledge. About the early access and small-group options.....I highly recommend splurging. When we exited St. Peters and saw the line-up of people waiting to buy tickets, I have to say that would be enough for me to change my mind no matter how interesting the tour was. Also, a small group I think we were 10 or so also made it very pleasant. Our guide pointed out a few times how lucky we were to be able to actually stand in front of paintings and have no one standing between us and the paintings and sculptures and tapestries.

We had a very informative and enjoyable tour around the Vatican Museums and St Peters and the Sistine Chapel. Our tour guide was excellent, very pleasant informative, she gave us time to see and take in all the sights and items along the tour and was able to answer everyone's questions. I would certainly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the Vatican.

We took the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel first early group access tour and we are so glad we did. When we entered the Sistine Chapel there was plenty of time to enjoy all aspects of this masterpiece without being crowded. We were able to sit on the benches and take it all in. On our way back through at the end of the tour, you could barely move it was so crowded. This is the only way to see the Sistine Chapel. Our tour guide was a previous archaeologist and she was exceptional. Extremely knowledgeable and genuinely excited about the Vatican and Rome. She gave us so much additional information on things to do. She also gave us time to shop. This is important because other tours we took through another company did not. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor and take this tour. You will save yourself so much of your precious vacation time and headaches from the crowd.

My wife and booked the early access tour for a maximum of 11 people. The meeting point outside the museum was nice and quiet as it is an hour before the museum opens. Before the tour I had very basic knowledge of The Vatican City, it’s background and the art inside it. Our guide was seriously good, her English was perfect, she was very personable and most of all her knowledge of The Vatican and its history was mind-blowing. Laura took us around The Vatican at a good pace and informed us on all the important information and the history/stories behind each piece of art. The majority of the time it felt like it was only our group in the whole museum as it was so quiet. It is well worth the money to get inside before the thousands of people that crowd the museum on a daily basis. It was a very informative and relaxed morning with our guide. I highly recommend this tour if you want to visit The Vatican.

The early Early Access, Small Group tour is the ONLY realistic way to see all three places. If you have never been, you have no idea how long the lines are. It is worth the money. There was nobody in the Museum when we started, had the place to ourselves, and we could see and hear very well. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained things very well.

We are so glad we opted for the early access tour. We walked straight in with no queueing after rendezvousing at the agreed meeting place. The organisation was very slick. Our tour guide was a delightful Italian Lady. Very knowledgeable and interesting, with a voice that was easy to listen to. The Vatican museum is well worth visiting, and if anything slightly took the shine off the Sistine Chapel - can't believe I've actually said that. Although it was busy, we understand from others that the crowds were horrendous later in the day. I strongly recommend this tour.
