Rome has a lot of touts who can easily take away the pleasure of your tour. We booked this before we left New Zealand as friends had taken the tour and were very happy with it. Our guide was very patient, knowledgeable and answered many questions that we had. Not having to wait in lines was a plus and this tour really deserves 5 stars. Chris and Matt (New Zealand)

It has always been my mother’s with to go to Rome and to especially visit the Vatican. I surprised her with a long-weekend in Rome and her dreams came true as she really enjoyed her visit to the Holy City. It was an early start and arriving there before the crowds made it a much more comfortable and stress free tour for her. Our guide was very considerate of her needs as my mother is 71 and she did not rush us through all of the galleries. This is a good tour as the group is small and we could hear our guide perfectly. Thank you for making my mother’s dream come true. Orla and Catherine

Our tour guide was excellent at showing us around the Vatican. She answered all of our questions and nothing we requested was a problem. Everywhere was amazing and I could not believe how big St. Peter's Basilica was. There were only eight people in our group which made in more personal and we even had coffee together after the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was the best money I have every spent on a guided tour. There were 7 of us in the group which allowed us to really learn and appreciate all of the wonders in the Vatican. Seeing the Vatican Galleries, Raphael’s Rooms, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine chapel are sights I will never forget. We did not have to use the headsets as there were only seven of us so we could all hear our guide perfectly. She was excellent and made sure that nobody got left behind. The other bonus about this tour is that I did not have to line in queues which were huge (even early in the morning). I will be recommending this tour to all of my family and friends.

The Vatican City is absolutely spectacular in every sense. The history is amazing and there was rooms and rooms of marble statues Tapestry's and paintings that are mind blowing. It is amazing to see so much wealth and beauty in one place and the Sistine Chapel is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Our guide was a wealth of information and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this tour.

WELL DONE! We booked this guided tour a couple of months before we went to Rome. There was a choice of times, but we had heard that it gets very busy, so we chose the first one of the day at 7.15am. This was a great way to see the Vatican- our guide did a great job of explaining the artwork and architecture- it was evident that she was very knowledgeable and passionate about the entire experience.

The tour entry was like a breeze for us after visiting the Coliseum the day before. We booked this guided tour a couple of months in advance which started at 7.15am. After seeing pictures of the Sistine Chapel in books all of my life, it was overwhelming to actually go there. Remember to dress appropriately.

The Vatican is huge and not easy to just walk in and take a look around. My friends tried to visit the Vatican on their own and it turned out to be a miserable experience. Pre-booking this early tour was the best thing we have ever done. There were no crowds and our guide was excellent at explaining everything that we saw. Apart of the Sistine Chapel, I recommend the Raphael rooms with their amazing paintings. If you really want to enjoy your experience in the Vatican, then this tour is A MUST.

A very well organized tour which we all enjoyed. Our guide was on time and she was down to earth and not boring like some guides are. The Vatican is great without the crowds that arrive as the day goes on.

The Vatican museums are awe inspiring and St Peter's Basilica is just stunning. An early start to see the Vatican is a must. I was here last year with my sister and we went during the day. It was so crowded that I did not really enjoy it. This year I booked this tour online before travelling. It was easy to book and my husband and I had a great experience. We did not have to queaue and our guide was very friendly with a lot of knowledge. I cannot praise this tour enough and the guide. Thank you from Amanda and John.

Our tour guide was absolutely incredible. Such a nice person and so knowledgeable who made time to answer everyone’s questions. If you want to see the Vatican, you must go in the early morning. We met with our guide just after 7am and off we went. The galleries are astounding and so is the Sistine Chapel - everywhere was just amazing.
