My wife and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary while we participated in this wonderful event. It was a bit of a ride to Mazzano Romano, but it was worth it for the beautiful view from the apartment where our chef led the eight guest in our cooking class. Prior to arriving there, we shopped at the local butcher shop and market. With supplies in tow, we walked up to the beautiful apartment where the chef and her assistant first showed us how to make a simple pizza with various toppings and then several tricks for making pasta several different ways, All the activities were supported with many laughs and plenty of wine. We sat together for a multi-course feast with more wine and laughter. We napped on the ride back with full bellies and a great memory.

This was an awesome experience. There were only 8 people in our cooking class in a small medieval village. We made three different types of pasta with three different sauces as well as a marinated chicken dish with veggies. There was wine, fun, and delicious food. We would highly recommend this to anyone, especially couples!

It was a wonderful cooking experience. I went with my grandson who really enjoyed the village and the cooking. I lucked out to a small class of 3. It would be crowded with more than 4. Monica our instructor was great. Hotel pick up was no problem, the taxi took us to meeting place.

I and 3 friends (and another couple) had the most fantastic day. We saw a part of Rome that we would never have visited and had a great time making pasta for our lunch. Definitely go again.

What a fabulous day! My daughter and I were in Rome for her birthday and spent a day with the team in Mazzano Romano. The instructions and ingredients were both amazing. We managed to cook some amazing food and spent the day cooking, laughing and drinking wine. The chef was both casual and focused and kept us focused so that we got the most of the experience. From shopping for ingredients, the amazing medieval town and eating the simple feast we made it was a great experience...one for the books!

This was the highlight of our trip. Eliza, the chef and the driver sous chef were both so fun and enjoyable. I am a good home chef and of Italian decent yet I learned several new things and can't wait to try them. The other couple that was on the tour was great and the food was amazing! My husband is actually excited about making pasta now. Highly recommend this tour

I have been on cooking tours in Florence, Barcelona, and Lima. All were terrific, but this one is way above those! Reasons: Number of dishes - 4 kinds of thin crust pizza (onions, potato, tomato with fresh mozzarella, and porchetta), tagliatelle with mushroom and sausage ragout, gnocchi with freshly made tomato sauce, ravioli filled with ricotta, zucchini, a little mint, with a cream sauce with truffle oil, saltimbocca (veal with prosciutto, sage and cheese), asparagus with pancetta, then chocolate molten cake. And we made it all (8 of us). The setting was a remote Medieval Village with visits to a butcher for veal, a deli for pancetta, prosciutto and cheese, and a market for fresh tomatoes, asparagus, mushrooms. the wine flowed the whole time (Red from Tuscany and White from Sardinia). Great group (7 foodies and a husband who become one during the day). Some said it was the best meal they have had in Italy. It was that good. I was so full, I did not have dinner that night (other than some gelato). Best of all, our Chef Alisa who was funny, highly skilled, and patient. There are other positives, but I will stop here. You get the message! It was my best cooking adventure ever. I have been home three days and have already made fresh pasta and pizza for the family. Not quite as good, but I will work on it.

Our experience was fantastic. We were picked up from our hotel in Rome and then dropped back very close to our hotel in Rome. The day was fun and our guide for the day was absolutely lovely. She was very warm and welcoming. We cooked and chatted about food, family life and lifestyles in Italy and Australia. Even though I am Italian and cook a lot I still learnt a lot and enjoyed the day very much. We loved the food we cooked. We couldn't finish eating it all. We would highly recommend this day out.

This was fabulous! Our group of 5 people was perfect. The chef did a terrific job, explaining all the techniques and recipes for 3 kinds of pasta, 2 chicken dishes, bruschetta x2, side of potatoes and stuffed tomato, along with dessert. All with perfect wine pairing, in a countryside home, with a view beyond belief. We highly recommend this tour!

This will go down as a highlight of our trip to Rome. As it happened, there were three no-shows for the tour which left my wife and me with a private tour. We definitely lucked out. After the approximately 45 minute drive to the country, we met our chef in the local town to acquire the ingredients for our cooking lesson. The apartment maintained by the tour company was quaint and wonderful with a fully equipped kitchen and dining room to sample our newly acquired skills. Our lesson commenced around 10:30 and included making pizza as an appetizer and veal prosciutto as the main course. And no Italian cooking class would be complete without being introduced to the art of pasta making. After consuming our creations we headed back to Rome mid-afternoon. Am sure we dozed off for a few minutes on the route. All in all, a wonderful day.

This was a first class tour. Our host and chef drove us to Mazzano Romano a 1500-year-old castle north of Rome. He was very friendly and informative. We stopped to shop at a butcher shop and vegetable shop before heading to a villa in the old fort. What a great experience. The class was informative and fun. We chatted, cooked and ate in the charming villa. It was a first class day.

This was without a doubt the best experience I had while in Rome. The chef was wonderful, and the small size of the group 7 meant we got lots of hands-on experience. Highly recommend this tour!

We LOVED this excursion! I had my reservations about a simple cooking lesson, but it turned out to be a wonderful side trip into a tiny Roman village. Our chef was very welcoming and patient. We had a wonderful time walking around the small town, hands-on cooking at the house, and enjoying a LOT of food!

LOVED LOVED LOVED this class/tour! My dad, sisters and I surprised my mom for her 70th bday with a trip to Rome. We were looking for something to do outside of the city and this was the perfect day! Not only is the village adorable, but the cooking experience was top notch. And, our chefs picked us up and dropped us off so we had plenty of time to ask questions about all things Italian/Roman! We enjoyed fresh food from the tiny grocery store and wonderful teachers to turn it into an amazing meal! We learned a great deal and still had plenty of time for wine and laughter. And we actually just made homemade pasta again while we were together back at home! Because there were only 5 of us in our group, the class was rounded out with a single traveller as well as a gap-year student and her parents. All of us (a variety of ages) had a fabulous time and left with full bellies! I would strongly recommend for families of all ages and sizes, couples, singles...anyone looking for a great Italian experience!
