From the moment we arrived at the airport to when he dropped us back, Tulus made our visit spectacular - he was always on time, communicative, upbeat, flexible and looking out for out interests and preferences. He did a great job balancing our desire to see a mix of architecture and nature - not to mention taking us to a chocolate factory, a local massage place and a local sweet shop that were not part of the original agenda but added on based on his suggestion once he learned about some of our interests.

We had some confusion as we didn’t realize the difference between getting a guide vs driver, but Tulus was very accommodating regardless! We would absolutely recommend him for your time in Yogyakarta and ourselves hope we will get to see him again next time we come with other friends or family! Thank you Tulus for an amazing time! We had 5D4N in Yogyakarta and hands down we had the best tour guide in Yogyakarta (literally!!) Before we arrived, we managed to have a chat with Tulus on our messy itinerary and Tulus ticked off all our places with excellent planning.

Super professional, very very accommodating and most of all, VERY punctual and excellent hospitality. Managed to visit all the tourist spots at Yogyakarta and Tulus made sure we ate the best food and shopped at best places. We were two females on a backpacking trip and our entire trip with Tulus was extra comforting as he always looked out for us, agreed to our crazy requests!

 

After ticking off all our places to visit, on our last day there, we were lucky to visit a little bit of his village and his family for lunch prepared traditionally and it was really nice to have this connection with someone across the world. Thank you Tulus, I’m so so so glad I picked up the phone to reach you at the last minute!
