Day 01: ARRIVE IN DELHI (INDIA)
Around midnight arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi. Delhi the Capital city of India & is one of the largest cities in India with a population of more than 10 million. On Arrival at the Airport, Our representative from Royal Routes of India will welcome you in a traditional way & transfer you to the designated hotel. Our representative from Royal routes will assist you to check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: IN DELHI (RAJGHAT VISIT & LEISURE TIME)
After leisurely breakfast at hotel, guided visit to Rajghat (Memorial to Mahatma Gandhi). Around late afternoon free time to relax at hotel or time to explore local Delhi or shopping.
Day 03: DELHI SIGHTSEEING
In the morning after a breakfast embark on sightseeing tour of Delhi. Explore the major attractions of Delhi city like Red Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Monument) which was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century & it is built in red sandstone. This fort served as a residence of the Mughal Emperors. Visit Jama Masjid built in the 17th century, constructed during the reign of Shah Jahan. This mosque is the largest mosque in India, it can accommodate more than 25000 worshippers at a time. Humayun’s Tomb (UNESCO World Heritage Site) was built in memory of Humayun by his wife Hamida Banu Begam in the year 1562 AD. Qutub Minar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) constructed during the reign of Qutab-ud-din- Aibak and Iltutmish is the highest brick tower in India. Afternoon drive past the India Gate which is a War Memorial built in the memory of soldiers who got martyrdom in the First World War. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: DELHI TO AGRA (245 KMS/ 4.5 HRS)
Today in the morning after enjoying the lavish breakfast at the hotel drive towards Agra. Agra is also known as the city of Taj. On arrival at Agra check-in to the hotel. Afternoon commence on sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) constructed in red sandstone was built by Akbar & later expansions were made during the reign of Shah Jahan. Also visit the most charming & lovable monument of India the Taj Mahal built in pure white marble, was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaj. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: AGRA TO JAIPUR (265 KMS/ 5 HRS)
In the morning after having breakfast at the hotel drive to Jaipur enroute visiting the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. The charming Jaipur city the Capital of Rajasthan is a beautiful city popularly known as the Pink City of India. Jaipur was founded by Sawai Jai Singh 02nd in the year 1727 AD. Upon arrival in Jaipur Check-In at the hotel. Evening visit Chokhi Dhani an ethnic Rajasthani Village Resort serving Rajasthani food. Enjoy the dinner with the local dances & music show. One can experience the charm of a village at the Resort. After dinner return to the hotel & overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: IN JAIPUR
Today in the morning after breakfast at the hotel embark on an excursion to Amber Fort situated atop a hill. Enjoy the royal experience during the elephant ride to approach the fort. Amber fort was built by Maharaja Man Singh & later expansions were made during the reign of Jai Singh 01st and Sawai jai Singh 02nd. Explore the architectural beauty of the palaces, halls, gardens & temple inside the fort complex. The fort is the excellent example of Mughal & Rajput Architecture. On the way to the City Palace, we will stop for a photo session at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), small palace surrounded by water in the middle of the lake. Visit the City Palace museum which is also a residence of the former royal family of Jaipur to see the collection royal weapons, textiles, manuscripts, paintings & carpets. Also visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh 02nd the astronomer & mathematician king of Jaipur for the study of the astronomy. Drive past the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind) and stop for a photo session. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07: JAIPUR TO JODHPUR VIA PUSHKAR (340 KMS/ 6.5 HRS)
Continue to Jodhpur on a scenic drive through the Aravalli hills, for a two night stay. Explore the holy town Pushkar enroute, visit the camel fair in Pushkar, largest gathering of camel at one place in the world. Ch. In in Jodhpur hotel, evening free for leisure activity.
Day 08: IN JODHPUR
A guided tour of the Blue City today will introduce you to Jaswant Thada and the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Continue this afternoon with a walking tour through the labyrinthine lanes of the old city, or take a Jeep safari out to Osian (OPTIONAL) on the edge of the Thar Desert, to take in the 8th century temple complex and visit a local Dhani (village) for a fascinating insight into a different way of life.
Day 09: JODHPUR TO UDAIPUR (265 KMS/ 5.5 HRS)
This morning you’ll continue to the fairy-tale like city of Udaipur. On the way, break your journey in Ranakpur, to explore one of India’s most elaborately carved temples. After lunch drive to Udaipur, upon arriving into the lake city later today, ch in to the hotel. Overnight at Udaipur hotel.
Day 10: IN UDAIPUR
Today you’ll be accompanied by your guide to explore the city of Udaipur. To begin, a walking tour through the narrow streets of the old city will take you through winding streets teeming with shops selling clothing, silver jewelry, and leather-bound journals. You’ll shortly approach the City Palace – this sprawling palace is the largest in Rajasthan and stands on a ridge overlooking the lake. Cupolas crown its octagonal towers, which are connected by a maze of narrow passageways. The rooms inside the City Palace all contain decorative art: beautiful paintings, colorful enamel, inlay glass-work, and antique furniture. You’ll also explore the 17th century Jagdish temple and Saheliyon-ki-Bari (a beautiful rose garden). ENJOY the boat-ride at Lake Pichola.
Day 11: FLY TO DELHI – OVERNIGHT AT DELHI HOTEL
The morning is at your leisure today, to relax and enjoy the palace or explore the easy-going town of Udaipur further at your own pace. This afternoon, you’ll be chauffeured to Udaipur airport to board a flight down to Delhi. Over Night at Delhi Hotel before you take your international flight.
Day 12: DROP TO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
