I really enjoyed my trip and I learned a lot about Beijing and its history from our guide. I never usually enjoy tours like this as I find them too touristic, but this tour was so personal and I felt like a local!

I spent a week teaching in Beijing and brought my husband. We are independent travellers who do not like tours generally. Everyone said if it's your first time in Beijing, hire a guide. I am so glad we did! Our guide Ling was FANTASTIC! She simply MADE the trip. Professional, prompt, excellent English, beautiful van, friendly, she always went above and beyond. You cant really travel to Beijing without visiting the Forbidden temples - its a must! Just to warn some people the entrance to the halls is closed to only photographs can be taken outside. It can get quite busy so were rushed in and out! We also got asked for our passports on the way around and were scanned by police officers. We chose to have a rickshaw tour and so glad we did in the end, so interesting to see the old streets! It was a shorter tour than we expected but enjoyable none the less. The meal was amazing, something I've always wanted to try and we even got the chance to make roast duck dumplings which were a brilliant experience! We ended our tour with a show at the Chaoyang Theater. It was a FANTASTIC show - There were moments which had us on the edge of our seats, these guys are super talented, there’s a reason why the venue is packed out for every performance!

We chose Temple Of Heaven it was great! We were amazed! Then with our Duck Dinner we got to experience Chinese Cuisine! Afterwards we went to the Acrobat Show which we loved! Great tour for great price will recommend!

This tour far exceeded our expectations. We had an excellent guide and we would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in seeing Beijing. My husband and I are both in our 70's and the pace of the tour was just right as our guide slowed the pace right down for us. He was very kind and really understood our needs. We were very HAPPY with this tour!
