Okavango Delta & Chobe Classic LuxVenture™ Safari
Ker & Downey Africa are famous for their Southern Africa safaris. This 6 Day Okavango Delta & Chobe National Park LuxVenture™ experience shows exactly why.
From exploring the banks of the Chobe river for chance encounters between prey and predator to the bucket list mokoro safari in the Okavango Delta - this trip is the perfect introduction to the Safari experience for travelers from around the world.
Experience the best of Botswana – the diversity and beauty of the Okavango Delta and the Chobe National Park during this amazing 5 Night / 6 Day safari experience.
Cruise along the scenic banks of the Chobe river, search for members of the Big Five on a game drive in Chobe National Park and explore the Delta by Mokoro.
Upon arrival at the Maun Airport, you will be comfortably transferred to Kadizora Camp. This will be your first experience of the African bush before you enter the Okavango Delta.
At Kadizora camp your experience of the Delta is one of absolute privacy. Situated on the banks of an expansive lagoon, the camp boasts the most breath-taking views of the Okavango Delta.
Experiences on this trip include open vehicle game drives, walking safaris and guided canoeing in a traditional Mokoro boat - from your base of Kadizora you are able to experience an abundance of birds and wildlife. Wildlife that you are likely to encounter during your 3 days in the Okavango Delta includes lion, leopard, elephant, giraffe, hippo, and crocodiles to name a few.
On the morning of your fourth day, you will enjoy breakfast at Kadizora Camp before being transferred to the Maun Airport to board your charter flight directly to Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge. Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge is the perfect lodge for the eco-friendly traveler.
Standing on the edge of Ghoha Hills in the Eastern part of Savuti - this is a prime location from which to explore the Chobe National Park. This solar powered lodge has an incredibly low carbon footprint, allowing travelers to the lodge to leave only a positive legacy in Botswana.
Guests are spoiled with opportunities to bird-watch, game-drive, do guided walks and star-gaze. Chobe National Park is a wildlife hotspot in the world, and for good reason, while the Big 5 is something you'll definitely be able to tick off on your visit to the Chobe National Park, the large amounts of Elephant in the Chobe are the main attraction.
Other wildlife to be spotted include wild dogs, hyenas and a large array of birds.
