My fiancee and I went to the Hunter Valley tours at 3rd of Nov. There were only four of us which made this tour felt a little bit special. Our tour guide, Bill was fantastic! I read many reviews saying he was excellent and I was silently hoping that we would get him.Mr. Bill was very caring and helpful and gave us audio explanation along the way towards Hunter Valley. And he clearly knows the Hunter Valley really well! He knew every corner of it, and almost everyone knew him. The lunch there was delicious and no mention the wine there was excellent. I don't know why someone mentioned that Hunter Valley was looking depressed, it is certainly alive! I love it!

Just back from our hols and what a fantastic tour we had yesterday to the Hunter Valley. Our multicultural bus had people from China, Ireland, United States, Scotland, and even some home grown Australians! Who wouldn't want a tour that involved wine tasting right??? We weren't lucky enough to have Bill along but our guide was Chris and he gave us some interesting stories about the areas we were driving through and the vinyards. We visited 3 wineries where we lucky enough to taste 5 types of wine in each hic!!, also a vodka distillery, and then had a sumptuous 3 course lunch in a beautiful setting. If that wasn't enough we then had cheese tasting and chocolate tasting as well as a surprise visit to an olive factoryThe Cellar Doors we visited had great selections of wines. Let's go again today !
